Day 204: "I'd Rather Live in Her World, Than Be Without Her in Mine"

Brooklyn has left '95 and my life forever. I will most likely never see her again. And that makes me sad.

Day 203: Time Lapse

All of my roommates went home for the break but before they left, they helped me clean...NOT. Since I am gonna be here all break I decided to clean so I didn't have to live in filth. But I also wanted to try my hand at a time lapse video.

I figured out the EOS utility program, hooked my camera up to my computer, and set up my tripod. To make this video, I set the camera up to take a picture every 5 seconds. Apparently the camera took 365 pictures which kinda freaked me out. I wanted the video to be around 1 minute so in my ancient editing program (Sony Vegas) each picture last for 5 frames (one second is 24 frames). Then I found some great Trent Reznor music and here it is.

Day 202: Debra Dead

This has been a terrible time for my water pipes. First Wilt goes MIA and now Debra has been decapitated. Apparently Brooklyn broke her while she was running away from Rotan with a bat.

She was three years old...

Day 201: Brooklyn Commits Arson

Brooklyn will soon be leaving forever so I put her in her favorite scarf. Compared to other things weput on her, she really doesn't mind the scarf and I think she actually likes it. When she walks outside wearing she lifts her nose in the air due to her upper class superiority.

The UCSB men's basketball team got thumped by Florida. Jim Rome, former alumni, said "If UCSB wins, kegs will be tapped and couches will be burned. If UCSB loses, kegs will be tapped and couches will be burned. Either way, we win." Well Rome was right. There were about five burnt couches in the streets of Isla Vista this morning. Brooklyn burned this one last night.

Day 200: Waves

For the first time in quite a while there were some decent sized waves in Isla Vista. Apparently these are "the biggest all year". Makes me miss those Wedge days.

Day 199: Bathroom Beauty

Before my final today at Buchanon I went to the bathroom. As anyone who has ever been in this bathroom knows, it is one of the dirtiest on campus and is full of graffitti. Some of it is pretty heavy. But since this bathroom has so much traffic, many of the original taggings now have commentary.

Day 198: Old Spice Game Day

Someone at '95 recently bought some Old Spice Body Wash. I ain't hating. Hell I use Old Spice too 'cause you gotta smell like a man, man. But for some reason, one of their new flavors is "Game Day". I find this funny because who honestly goes out of their way to smell better on game day? Probably because if you were getting ready to play a football game and you all gathered at the line and your opponent smells like extremely potent Old Spice, you'd be freaked the fuck out. Old Spice Game Day: Make your foe question your sexuality.

Day 197: Whiskey Dents

It was our downstairs neighbor's birfday yesterday and she went all out. Blacked out Friday, woke up Saturday at 8am and raged all day until blacking out, taking a nap, and then blacking out again. But blacking out multiple times took its toll on her.

I have no idea as to what could cause this parallel bruising... and neither does our neighbor.

I thought it was a mark for every wound but I guess its for every shot from the night prior. I love how they get sloppier and sloppier. Happy 21st neighbs.
