Day 249: Tristan Taormino

In our porn class, we have some pretty interesting guests. This weeks guest was female porn director, Tristan Taormino. She makes feminized porn that entertains a mostly female audience.

The quote of the night came when she talked about STD's being spread amongst retirement homes, "Gonorrhea is going all around the bridge table!"

Day 248: Strawberries

Day 247: Bathroom Censorship

A bunch of days ago I took some pictures of the bathroom in Buchannon hall. Someone must have seen all the graffitti and painted over it. There were literally years of vandalism that were fossilized in that stall and now its all gone.

But, as Doug probably knows, you can't get rid of the wet.

Day 246: Which Came First: The TV or the Frame?

I was hanging out with Sarah in the duerms when I realized this TV. Somehow, it fit perfectly into the stand that was holding it and wondered how this came to be. Did someone buy the TV and then find the frame or did someone have the frame and found the absolute perfect TV? Perhaps we will never know.

Candid shot of Sarah. Never has a UCSB sweater looked so sexy.

Day 245: Rugby

Today I got to film the UCSB Rugby team beat the shit out of Oregon State. As a videographer, I made a little video for the team. Here it is.

Day 244: Fotokem

Drove down to L.A. with Kyle today to pick up the Elixir footage. It is always nerve wracking when shooting on 16mm and seeing it develop. You never know what you're gonna get until you actually see it. Overexposed? Underexposed? you never know until its projected. Brian and Orlando met us there and we watched all 1300 feet of it. It looks fantastic.

On the side of Fotokem, they toss all the film canisters into this garage area. Sometimes you see features and television shows lying around. We didn't look too hard today.

Day 243: Another Prop

Borrowed my friend's shotgun for this movie I'm making and it is pretty gnarly. It is an old school double barrel that can be held like a cowboy when it is open. You can see Viggo Mortensen do this in Appaloosa.
