Day 150: Downtown Again
Sarah, myself, and her friends decided to go downtown for a farmer's market. Unfortunately we go there at like 1 and the farmer's market didn't start until 4 so we went downtown for like 45 minutes. It was still a good time though.
Day 149: Day date with Brian
Brian had to do a bunch of shit downtown and I didn't really have anything to do so I tagged along. I thought I might be able to pick up my filmmaker pass for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival but the volunteer said they wouldn't be ready until Thursday.
While it was only Monday, the whole city s getting ready for the film festival. I literally can't wait.
Borders closed recently and it was weird seeing the skeleton of it for the first time.
This guys suit was so ridiculously big on him he was practically swimming in it. "Junior Executive" for sure.
Ran into Kirk and Kevin at Chipotle. They too were on a man date.
Brian and I had a discussion of what was better: Chipotle or Freebirds. I personally think Chipotle is better because it is cheeper, more modern, and utilizes creativity with their otherwise boring menu. Freebirds though has local appeal, better rice, and a vast history which can be seen on its walls. To each his own I guess.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Day 148: Rails on a Chalkboard
This animation stuff is painstakingly long but really gratifying. Its coming together quite well. My goal is to not move the erased chalk from the bottom of the chalkboard so it turns into a big huge mound of white powder. Then I can sell it as cocaine to pay for the production.

Day 146: Chow Mien Bags
When I arrived at my Friday T.A. job, the film department copy room was full of Chow Mien. I'm talking like 2 full banquet trays. There were like 5 full bags but by the time I got my camera out this was all that was left.
Day 144: Cookies
My downstairs neighbors made me cookies because one of their dumbass friends smoked all my weed without me. If I had known that when she was still here I would have torn her a new one. These cookies were good but my marijuana was better.
Day 143: Cycle
This week our homework for animation was to make a cycle. A cycle is a series of drawings that look like an action is occurring forever. So for mine I made an extremely gluttonous man eat things on a conveyor belt that is powered by his sad but loyal wife.
Day 142: Shoulder Mount Part II
James took the pieces I bought from Home Depot and made the basic structure of the shoulder mount. To get the curve on the shoulder, we bought a shelf holder and attached a 2x4 to the bottom of it for extra support.
Right now there is only one handle but the other one will also act as a focus puller when it is twisted.
Day 141: Beach Shoot
Sarah and I went on a walk with Brooklyn so I brought my camera. I soon realized that I had left my SD card at home so I went and got it. Really glad I did...
Brooklyn dried off...
But then completely forgot about it...

Day 140: Playoff BBQ
This quarter '95 has decided to do more "house activities". This weekend we had a barbecue for the Playoffs. Everyone had a good time.
