Day 215: Your Highness

UCSB won the Your Highness film premiere and the whole campus was amped about it. I scored a job working in the Pollock theatre as a "podium mover" but fuck it, I was down.

Before the screening, there was a "pre-party" held at Storke Plaza in which there was food, free shit, and James Franco, Danny McBride, some other guy who played the villain, and the Director, David Gordon Green. I came, took a couple pictures, and then headed back to the theatre where the VIPs would soon be heading.

They had food for the volunteers and some Universal people in the sound stage.

The man of the night, Matt Ryan, successfully managed the theatre for its biggest event yet.

The biggest man I have ever seen.

I chatted it up with the Fire Marshall for quite some time. He proved again that cops are horrible people but Firefighters are upstanding members of society.

Normally no food or drink is allowed in Pollock, but when Universal offers to pay thousands of dollars for a cleaning crew, you make an exception.

Joe, holding shit down as always.

On any other day, Matt would be PISSED.

Random celebrity of the night, Maybe from Arrested Developement.

Keith documenting.

David Gordon Green encouraging future filmmakers.

Danny McBride mid scissor jump kick.

Franco giving everyone else a taste of what its like to be paparazzi'd

Its really dark and I didn't "auto correct" it, but they were like two feet away.

All in all it was a great night for UCSB and the movie it self was pretty funny. I'm glad I got to see the premiere with a college crowd who cheered after every battle and on screen kiss. It truly was an experience.
